Who we are

Community Action for Rural Empowerment

CARE consciously focuses on people in our area that are socio-economically vulnerable because  majority in rural and isolated tribal areas are unreached, marginalized and disadvantaged people. While this approach facilitates the sustainable transformational development of the communities, the main focus of this development is the well being of children and old aged. The building up of the community in this fashion facilitates the equitable development of every child in the community, bringing with it a promise of a life filled with dignity, justice, peace and hope. CARE staff are highly dedicated and live among the needy communities, working along with them to provide for education, health and other needs. Children, their families and the community become the target group for CARE’s activities as child education cannot be done in isolation and nothing else but education for children can bring long lasting change in the society.

“Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat " - Mother Theresa
